Jessie Carter, PT
Physical Therapist / Owner ~ Jessie is a 2001 graduate of the University of Evansville in Evansville (IN) where she earned both her BS and Masters degrees in physical therapy. Prior to transferring to UE, she attended Murray State University in Murray, KY, where she majored in biology. Jessie grew up in Columbia, IL, a suburb of St. Louis, MO. Jessie and her husband Rusty moved to Clarksville in 2003 to be closer to family. They have three young children – Addie, Gracie, and Will, who keep them on their toes. The most recent addition to the family is a Cavachon named Ruger who joins his sister Tink, the family's Bichon. Besides spending any time she can with her family, Jessie enjoys blogging, biking, snow skiing, reading, and eBay-ing. She is also a doula and helps area women through labor and delivery.

Kellie Boyd, PT
Physical Therapist ~ Kellie is a 1995 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Memphis physical therapy program and joined the High Pointe team in 2007. Throughout her career, Kellie has worked in a variety of therapy settings with an emphasis on neurologic rehabilitation. When Kellie and her family moved to Clarksville in 2002, she decided to try working in the outpatient clinic setting and has loved every minute of it! Kellie and her husband Chase have three children — Lauryn, Hunter, and Emma. The Boyds own ABC Family Dental here in Clarksville where Chase practices dentistry. Kellie is an avid reader, gardener, and fledgling golfer! She loves to be outdoors with her children and dog Jaz (a German shepherd).

Melisia Bell, DPT
Physical Therapist ~ Missy is a 2007 graduate of the University of Minnesota where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and therefore is a Green Bay Packer fan. Missy moved to Clarksville in January 2010 to be with her husband, Jake, who is based at Fort Campbell. Missy joined the High Pointe Rehab team in January 2011. Missy loves spending time with her husband and her dog Midget, an American Mastiff. She also enjoys reading, scrapbooking, and exercising.

Carmen Hunter
Personal Trainer & Certified Wellness Coach ~ Carmen is a fitness and wellness enthusiast who joined the High Pointe team in August 2011 after being one of the clinic's first GRAVITY training clients. She is a proud wife to Toby and mom to Brayden, her pride and joy. Carmen's personal journey of managing her own health through exercise and smart choices served as her gateway into the training field. She inspires her clients daily to value their own life enough to START THE PROGRAM! Rusty Carter
Business Manager / Owner ~ Rusty is a 1997 graduate of Murray State University where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Music Education. He currently splits his time between High Pointe and Mahaffey Middle School on Fort Campbell where he is a band director. Rusty is originally from Cadiz, KY, where his parents and sister still reside. Rusty is married to Jessie and is a devoted husband and dad ~ prior to opening High Pointe, he was a stay-at-home Dad for six years. When he finds any time for himself, Rusty enjoys playing music, woodworking, photography, target shooting, and home renovation.

Lana Murphree
Office Manager ~ Lana was born, raised, and educated in Iowa. After graduating from Ellsworth College, she moved to Honolulu, Hawaii where she met her husband, Mike. While there she worked as an Executive Secretary at KGU Radio. Mike and Lana have had the opportunity to live in several great locations. Mike’s work in the food industry has taken them to Newport Beach, CA, Ft. Myers, FL (where their son, Tanner, was born), Orlando, FL, Houston, TX, Savannah, GA, (where Tanner lives), and Clarksville. Coincidentally, Mike is a graduate of Clarksville High School and is happy to be back home close to his family. He recently retired as an area director for Captain D’s Seafood Restaurants. Lana enjoys music, home karaoke, movies, dancing, traveling, bargain shopping, and gardening – especially her roses. Lana has been with High Pointe since 2006.

Michelle Dowlen
Patient Care Representative ~ Michelle is a 2005 graduate of APSU with a bachelor’s degree in Wellness Promotion. Michelle was born and raised in the Clarksville area and lives in Cedar Hill, TN, with her husband Josh and their toddler son Reed. Michelle spent 8 years in the US Coast Guard where she was stationed in Port O’Connor, TX, Paducah, KY, Nashville, TN, and briefly in St. Louis, MO. Michelle enjoys taking care of and spending time with her family, working out and shopping. Michelle started at High Pointe in January 2011 and has quickly become a priceless part of their administrative team.

Mardee Darnell
Receptionist ~ Mardee joined the High Pointe team in January 2011 after she was recruited while rehabilitating a knee injury in the facility. She has a varied background which includes working in the health field as well as owning and running her own gift shop. Mardee has lived in Clarksville most of her life and is the proud wife to Mike and mother to two daughters. If you have time to stop by the front desk, she will tell you about her three grandchildren or her latest antique finds! Mardee and her husband Mike like attending estate sales to fill her local antique booths. Haley Spigner
Physical Therapy Technician ~ Haley joined the High Pointe team in August 2011 to get more exposure to the physical therapy field. She is a senior at Clarksville Academy and will be attending Belmont University in Fall 2012. She plans on studying physical therapy with the hopes of using her skills on the mission field in Guatemala in the future. Haley is active in her school's FCA and her church's youth group. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her boyfriend.
